The safeguarding and constant improvement of the quality of the products of Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG is the task of our D & AT department. Our Laboratory with highly modern testing machines and analytical devices provides best conditions for successful D & AT work. The technical requirements of track systems, which are rising constantly, are the challenge for the permanent further development of our Thermit ^® Welding Methods.

Good development work includes not to have a parochial view. Constant exchange of experience with customers but also within the companies of the Goldschmidt-Thermit Group is a source of information and inspiration for our work. Together with research centers, rail manufacturers and railway companies as well as chairs of several universities, we advance the optimization of our methods and processes.
